What to Do When You Have an Opportunity to Share the Gospel

What would you do with an opportunity to share the gospel if it presented itself this week?

I found myself in this kind of situation a few weeks ago. I’ll tell you about it this weekend, but the start story is that presented with the opportunity, I punted.

That’s the situation the Apostle Paul finds himself in in our text this weekend. He had every reason to punt, but he didn’t. He went for the touchdown.

It’s a fascinating story that spans a couple of years and several chapters in Acts.

The story is like a case study for us, showing us what to do when we have an opportunity to share the gospel.

Even though our situation will never mirror Paul’s in Acts, there are all kinds of things we can learn from what he did.
