We are the church, whether we are gathered or scattered--each one of us, a part of the body of Christ, wherever we go, whatever we do.

So, where can you find us, and what are we doing?  

When Bruce Gorder told me he wasn't going to be able to re-up for a second Elder term I was so happy. Okay, that sounds bad. I was so happy because he was going on the Feed My Starving Children board, and that was going to be a huge time and energy commitment. We've done so much work with FMSC and we love that organization. "It’s humbling to play a small part in God’s plan to provide food (330M meals in 2017) for children around the world who are desperately hungry," Bruce told me. "We see God’s hand at work every day in every part of the operation, and He continues to amaze us by providing answers and solutions that we simply cannot plan for ourselves." Bruce is also currently helping with the planning of the next big Woodbury packing event that will take place this fall. (Bruce and Patty are pictured above.)
