Avoiding Worship That Insults God

Our worship can insult God.

Worship that insults God is one of the major themes in Malachi, the last book of the Old Testament. 

God would rather we close the doors of the churches or stay home than endure insulting worship (Malachi 3:10) 

God is very specific about what kind of worship insults him.

And insulting God in worship is easier than you might think.

But God is also very specific about what kind of worship honors him and what kind of worship he loves to bless. 

This weekend we'll look at Malachi as we tie up the Old Testament portion of the Gospel Project. Our focus will be on the kind of worship God loves, the kind that truly honors him, the kind that he loves to bless.
