Snippet: "That's what it means to have a Christian worldview.”

Snip·pet | ˈsnipit | noun a small piece or brief extract.

This one is from The Breakpoint Podcast (December 27, 2024). John Stonestreet is talking about a feature they did on the top culture stories of 2024:

“You don't start with the chaos of the moment. When we listed out these six or seven You Are Here stories, let's be really clear. These are defining moments for our culture, but they're not the ultimate truths about reality. The most significant event in the history of the world is the resurrection of Christ Jesus, not the implementation of AI.

“And getting those two things straight instead of figuring out how does Jesus fit into an age of AI. We want to figure out how does AI fit into an age in which Christ has risen from the dead, and his rule has been established firmly. And one day every knee will bow and every tongue will confess.

“How does that look? That's what it means to have a Christian worldview.”

I like that distinction.
