Mid-Week Memo — Henry Williams

Hi Five Oakers,

I have FOUR VERY IMPORTANT things I want to share with you today.

#1 – The sermon is ready for our Christmas services. It’s no hype when I say that the message and the service will be a highly compelling presentation of the gospel and reflection on the meaning of Christmas. Please don’t neglect inviting someone who is far from God.

#2 – When I ask everyone to respond to the message on their Communication Cards (or some other response card), please do so. People who need to indicate a first-time response are more likely to do that if everyone is doing something.

#3 – The greeting time is vitally important on a weekend like this. Please reach out to anyone that is new. A lot of new people might be sitting next to new people, so look around and see if you can spot someone you don’t know. Right after the service reconnect with them and then encourage them to come up to 10-Minute Connect and get their free Christmas CD.

#4 – Pray for the services and for hearts to be receptive to the gospel.

If we’re all prayerfully working together on this, great things can happen!
