So You Want to Be a Small Group Leader

I'm having the small group leaders to my house over the next few weeks. Take a look at the following invitation. If you're thinking of leading in the future, you can come too. Just email me or reply in the Comments. I'll send you directions.

Dear Small Group Leaders:

I’d like to have dessert with you at my home. We’re serving Cuban desserts! Is your mouth watering yet? If not, it’s only because you haven’t had any yet. But we’ll remedy that. Come to one of the three gatherings we’re planning. I’m shooting for 100% participation (at least one leader from every group), but I can’t imagine why any leader would want to miss. :-)

The purpose is to hear how things are going in your groups and your own souls, to get input and feedback for improving our ministry and to give you an overview of the exciting things we’re planning for the coming ministry year beginning in September. (I’ll provide a preview in a separate email.)

The dates and times for the dessert gatherings are (please pick one):

  • June 13 – Wednesday – 7:00-9:00 pm
  • June 21 – Thursday – 7:00-9:00 pm
  • July 10 – Tuesday – 7:00-9:00 pm
