We are the church, whether we are gathered or scattered--each one of us, a part of the body of Christ, wherever we go, whatever we do.

So, where can you find us, and what are we doing?

With sheltering in place going on, and frequently rainy, cold weather, sometimes we’re twiddling our thumbs wondering what to do? Five Oaks staffer Pam Hawley’s family is no different, so she went to Facebook for inspiration. Puzzles are making a comeback, and they get the whole family involved. But now she says her decluttering had come back to haunt her—hardly a puzzle to be had in the house. And due to our current health crisis, shipping times and prices on new ones are definitely daunting. 

Five Oaks family to the rescue! She reached out to see what was to be done, and found multiple puzzlers ready to help out. In fact, three Five Oaks families were already doing puzzle swaps and were happy to add another friend to the mix. Superhero Liza Halverson immediately put together a pile of puzzles and dropped them off on the Hawley’s front step! Liza is pictured above with more of her treasure trove, and said she’s happy to lend some to others who are hoping for some fantastic, fun, family time. Thank you Liza!
