Some of the most popular YouTube channels are videos of people playing video games or unwrapping packages.

Tons of people can spend hours watching other people play golf or fish.

Do you like watching football? An average professional football game lasts 3 hours and 12 minutes, but if you tally up the time when the ball is actually in play, it’s only about 10 minutes.

Yet when we think of worship going on in heaven and we see it described in our passage this weekend, Revelation 4-5, we think it sounds boring.

My goal this weekend is to show you why it’s not going to be boring. Part of the clue is found in the things we lose ourselves in now, things that other people who don’t understand our interests find mind numbingly boring…like watching golf…or football.
