How Faith is the Fuel for Following Jesus

A few years ago, in 2015, seven people gathered for the inaugural meeting of a new group. It was a new club.  

But this group was kind of usual. The new group was about quitting and was called “The Quitters Club.”

We’re looking at one of the more famous chapters in the Bible this weekend, Hebrews 11. It’s often called “the faith chapter” or the “hall of fame of faith.”

What you may not know is that Hebrews 11 follows on a appeal not to quit. The list of people of faith are a list of people who did not join “The Quitters Club” of faith.

“But we do not belong to those who shrink back and are destroyed, but to those who have faith and are saved.” (Hebrews 10:39)
