Layoffs at Five Oaks?

Nope! But I really wanted to get the attention of our members and regular attenders.

We don't have services this weekend, but that doesn't mean we can miss a week of offerings. Just to put it in perspective, one week's average offering pays the salary for at least one or two part-time employees that play a vital role in our church. So please give your regular offering online (go to the "Regular Attender" tab), send it to the church or give it the following week. 

Fortunately, our congregation is disciplined in giving, so we did not experience any shortfalls last year when we canceled services for the Feed My Starving Children event. I'm expecting the same results this year. But you might want to take this opportunity to set up your secure online giving account.
