Congratulations Mark

Congratulations to Five Oaks member Mark Porter. Mark was chosen to be the next superintendent of schools for District 833 (S. Washington County), which includes Woodbury, Cottage Grove, Newport and St. Paul Park. Mark is also the men's leader for the area Bible Study Fellowship.

It just reminds me again that we all have a stewardship of influence wherever we are, whether in a classroom, a business, in government, in the neighborhood, in our own homes. God wants us to do our jobs with excellence to his glory and leverage our influence for his Kingdom. It's about bringing Christ into our everyday lives.
