Agitated

I think that's the word to use for how I start feeling about two weeks out from Leadership Community. Same as last time. Agitated while I pray and think and wait on God to help me know what to share in the vision talk. It's not that I don't have things to say. I have a place I keep ideas and I have no less than 25 ideas. But what is the right one and what does God want me to drive home in that little time I have to share it? And I want it to be compelling for everyone there. Leadership Community is so important to our future as a church because we have to be a church moving together and producing world class leaders if we're going to do what God has called us to do. The 10 in 10 dream alone is impossible without highly committed and effective leaders being raised up from within our church.

This morning, during a 5:30 a.m. class at the Y, it all started to come together...I think. All of a sudden a rush of stuff that was disconnected yesterday are all connected today. Now I'm going from agitated to excited. Now I'm not fretting that the weekend will come to quickly. It can't come too soon.
