Keith Moore recently sent this email to our men's ministry director, Jeremy LaCroix, about the men's softball team he led. Guys, keep this in mind for next year. Great sport and fun.

Jeremy,
I just wanted to let you know that the Five Oaks II softball team made it to the league championship game last night. We didn't win that game, but did take second place in our league tournament. I was very proud of our team, as our record was not very good during the regular season (6-9-1), but we came together and played extremely well during the tournament.

The softball teams are a wonderful way that men in our church can come together and get to know one another. It is also a great outreach, as we have a couple of young men who don't go to Five Oaks that play on the team. We have been encouraging them to try Five Oaks because of the relationships that they have started through the team.

I just wanted to pass this along to you, and thank Men's Ministry for sponsoring the two Five Oak Teams.
