One Goal, Shared

More on the CCL experience: On the last day, as we finalized our goals (to be turned in and entered in a computerized follow-up system), one of our program leaders told us that one of the best executive coaches, a man who works with lots of CEO's, allows them to work on only one goal at a time and will work with them only if they are willing to solicit the help of their direct reports and others in accomplishing their goal.

I decided to take it to heart and develop only one goal. I also shared it with the staff leadership team at our retreat. I told them specifically some new actions/habits I'm trying to practice in accomplishing the goal.
