We are the church, whether we are gathered or scattered--each one of us, a part of the body of Christ, wherever we go, whatever we do.

So, where can you find us, and what are we doing?

Each week an individual, family, or community group steps up to serve food at Five Oaks Students on Wednesday nights. This is a huge blessing for leaders and students who usually don't have time to eat before coming to youth group! They make anything from lasagna to walking tacos and the kids LOVE IT! This picture is of an entire small group who each brought different parts, working together to serve our students

So, where can you find us, and what are we doing?

That’s Five Oaker Scott Halverson who leads the yearly Hearts & Hammers home renewal project. Here he is at our recent event with the family who owns the home.

One of the things I love about Hearts & Hammers is the cross generational aspect of it. It’s a place for our young men to get to know some of the men of the church.

But it’s not an event just for men.

I would say “mission accomplished” but this is about so much more than fixing up a house. Its impact for the family and for those serving goes way beyond the event.
