This is Us

We are the church, whether we are gathered or scattered--each one of us, a part of the body of Christ, wherever we go, whatever we do.

So, where can you find us, and what are we doing?

Kevin Gjertsen in his own words: “When I retired 7 years ago, no one was as surprised as me when I felt led to volunteer with Prison Fellowship, ministering to men behind bars.  The surprise was that I had spent over 35 years in law enforcement putting people in prison, now God was leading me to help equip these men for success when they are released back into society.  I quickly found that God wanted me to grow as well as contribute to the growth of others.  You see, I had a "lock them up and throw away the key" mentality for years.  God changed that into a heart that spends one night a week serving those in prison.  There are many more that could be reached with God's love and forgiveness through Prison Fellowship.  Interested people can arrange for a visit to see for themselves what is involved with this ministry.”
