Here's Tim Bubar's sermon from the weekend in 10 Tweets, Galatians 2:1-10 (Inside Out Galatians series): 1// This passage can be confusing and hard to read. Remember: Paul is writing a letter, not an essay.

2// Paul is making a statement about the authority and accuracy of his message. Trusting what he wrote is as important for us today as it was then.

3// Unity is vitally important. The gospel is at stake.

4// Jesus: "By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." John 13:35

5// Unity is not ultimate. The gospel is at stake.

6// Adding to the gospel not only meant slavery for the Gentiles in Galatia, but for Paul, the Jewish believers, and us today.

7// The last word from the "pillars" was to remember the poor. The gospel should always lead us there. It doesn't end with theological correctness or celebrating our freedom - we've been blessed to be a blessing.

8// Where do you add to the gospel? Where do you do that to others? Where do you do that to yourself?

9// "The Law is the diagnostic. Jesus is the cure." - Matt Chandler

10// We need to be reminded to turn directly to Jesus when we sin, not to our own power to keep the law. He gave us communion to remind us.
