We are the church, whether we are gathered or scattered--each one of us, a part of the body of Christ, wherever we go, whatever we do.

So, where can you find us, and what are we doing?

Ever wondered who takes the time to create the artwork on the chalkboards in the Commons? This team of artistic ladies take turns coming in to Five Oaks on their own time and creating the artwork and messaging we need each week! Fun fact: Because each chalkboard weighs nearly 40 pounds and is rather unwieldy, the artists create their works while standing on a ladder! They are creative and generous with their time, and the ones with young kids bring them along to “help,” too. Pictured here, from left: Bethany Nordman, Meleah Miller, and Liz Snow. Part of Something Bigger

This weekend in our services we join with hundreds of other churches in our movement to pray for our common mission: The EFCA exists to glorify God by multiplying transformational churches among all people.

Our church is part of a larger association of churches called the Evangelical Free Church of America. The EFCA includes approximately 1,500 congregations with almost 400,000 attenders in the United States. In addition to this there are over 500 missionaries serving in more than 80 countries around the world.

This weekend we are joining with all other EFCA churches throughout the country for Church Multiplication Sunday, a time set aside to pray for the starting of new churches throughout our nation and world.
