First Sunday Morning Story of God Starts This Weekend
This Sunday, during the first service, we launch a new session The Story of God for the first time on Sunday morning. I'll be in and out, of course, but I'll still be leading some of the lectures right after I'm done preaching in the first service. Is there someone you can invite and bring?

This is a nine-week experience that gives you a framework for the entire Bible so that you can understand the main storyline and how it all fits together. You will also learn a memorable and practical framework for discipleship and spiritual growth. We refer to it as a spiritual boot camp that prepares you for a lifetime of reading the Bible with greater understanding.
Our next Story of God session begins this Sunday, April 6. We only have 21 openings. It will run on Sunday mornings from 9:15 – 10:40am for nine weeks (excluding Easter and Memorial Day weekend). The cost is $15 per person.

Below are some frequently asked questions that might be helpful:
What if I don't know anything about the Bible?
This study assumes you know nothing about the Bible. We do a short quiz on week 1 to gauge where the group is (you turn in your results without your name, so only you know how you did). Oftentimes, 10-20% of the folks get zero right out of ten questions. When we quiz again at the end, the improvements are remarkable.
I've been studying the Bible all my life. Will it be too basic for me?
Seminary graduates and pastors, after experiencing something like this, often comment that this was a missing link in their Bible education. This is an exercise in biblical theology. If you have had a good dose of biblical theology and you know the redemptive storyline of the Bible from start to finish, it may be too basic for you.
Is there homework involved?
Yes. About half-hour per day. If you're not ready to make an investment of this daily time, you should wait and take it later. But remember, "that day when life isn't going to be as busy" will never come. If you think this will have a significant spiritual impact on your life, dive in now. I know you won't regret it.
Do I have to be a Five Oaks attender?
No. Feel free to invite a friend or two! They will need to register as well.
What if I miss a session or two?
If you know you will likely miss more than two of the sessions because of other commitments, it would be better to wait for another time. But if you miss one or two, you'll simply have a little extra homework that week.
