Day Fourteen: 21-Day Easter Challenge

When I think of the horrors the disciples are about to witness and the absolute loss of all hope, the offer of peace is all the more striking. You are the giver of true, enduring and lasting peace because you are the giver of life and you see your victory even in the middle of horror and pain. You are eternal. You have plans for us that are eternal. You prepare a place for us where we will experience life as it should be and your glory in all its fullness. Praise you!

Day Thirteen: 21-Day Easter Challenge

We missed hitting Palm Sunday on the mark by about two days, but we will be reading about the crucifixion on Good Friday. A good part of this week will be focused on Jesus' last evening with his disciples in the upper room (John 13-17). Great preparation for Good Friday and Easter.

Jesus pours on the love on his disciples. He serves them. Here's a part of my prayer today, from my prayer email:

People will know that we are yours by our love for one another. Teach me to love more. To live so much in your love and acceptance that your love is produced in me and flows out. That it be your love and not my attempts at love.
