Your Finacial Peace Stories 7

More stories:

  • I have learned so much from this series about how our stuff interferes with our spiritual maturity and our relationship with Jesus. We need to put God in the center of our life and leverage our affluence for His purpose for our life.
  • My husband lost his job in Nov. Recently he got a part time job. I feel my focus at first was on the panic. Now I realized even though we have to stretch sometimes God will provide by providing strength and opportunity.
  • Felt stress – small group challenged me to look at finances and have a realistic picture so I could have peace.
  • We have grown in peace even though since the start of the series we have both lost our jobs and business and had to look at losing everything as we know it.
  • Christ prepared us beforehand and we feel soooo close with Him through all of this!

I'm always intrigued by Jesus' question to the man...whether he would like to be healed. But what struck me today was the phrase that we have passed from death to life. It has happened. We are living eternally in him. He gives us "the life." We will some day experience it in full.

So here's a part of my email prayer:

This may seem like the life at times, but at even at its best, it's only a taste. Life is in you, wherever I am and under all conditions. You are life. And thanks to you I have passed from death to life. Help me live my life today fully in you.
