Wanted: Group Life Writers and Editors

Do you like to study the Bible and help others study the Bible? Do you have some experience leading Bible studies? Are you a member of Five Oaks? Then you might be a budding Group Life writer. Right now we have three or four writers and we could use about six. That way you prepare a lesson every six weeks or so. We train you and support you along the way. We also resource you with tools for study and for preparing inductive Bible studies using the OIA method (Observation, Interpretation, Application). Reaching or Teaching 2

The last post was longer than most and I wrote something at the end that I don't want anybody to miss.

My hope is that we're a reaching (bringing lives to Christ) and teaching (bringing Christ to everyday life) church. It is a hard balance. Teaching without reaching is unholy. (Read that again.) Reaching without teaching is impossible. (Reaching, defined by Jesus, is making disciples and that can't be done without teaching.)
