We took a field trip today out to the dam a few miles from the orphanage. Pretty incredible site and beautiful. Trent, Mike, Holly and I went up to a village above the dam built in and around humongous abandoned equipment used to build the dam back in the 50's. It looked like something out of Mad Max or Water World. But it was really a beautiful place to live, though simple and poor. 
Great end to the day today at Mike's favorite restaurant in Mirebalais. (Mike's dad, Mike Mularoni, is our missions team partnership coordinator for Haiti.) Had a delicious beef stew and decided to create a portfolio of Mike's "bad beard." He's been here since November and has this bad beard to show for it (and many awesome experiences). I found a picture of Mike with my son, Henry Michael, from 2004 after the section championship win at Hasting for comparison sake.
