It's not too late to still participate in the Leadership Essentials study I'm facilitating on Tuesday nights (7 - 8:30 p.m.). It's a 12-week study by Greg Ogden with weekly homework (about one hour plus memorizing Scripture). Our first session is tomorrow, but you can join a week late if tomorrow doesn't work out for you. I have to admit I was praying for rain on Saturday. After all, who wants to be inside on a beautiful September weekend. It was our first Leadership Community, a crucial new initiative in carrying out our mission to bring lives to Christ and Christ to everyday life. I wanted a big crowd.
Well, the rain came, the crowd showed up and the energy level was off the charts. We had a lot of laughter, a rocking band, some tears and plenty of inspiration provided by life impacting ministry of our own members. Leadership Community is top priority for us.
